Did the participants like it?
“The training day was useful and practical, with hands on experience, inspirational and enabled us to put in use immediately in our work;
Presentation made by Mamoun (our project trainer) was detailed oriented, but still very concrete and based on experience which will help with the development of the future project;
We hope that at least one of the project developed during the workshop will be realized.”
On the 4th day of the training the participants had the chance to celebrate the World Interfaith Harmony Week with locals of Madaba and took part in a lecture given by leaders of religions from the region.
Afterwards, they were able to visit churches and mosque in Madaba region to fully experience the religious diversity.
A very important part of the study visit was the incubator & accelerator for young entrepreneurs and youth-owned SMEs – place where mosaics are being repaired and created.
“Having the group interact in a non-formal way helps us to understand each other, developed friendships and networks, which will definitely help for future joint projects and initiatives;
We observed the Jordanian model of co-existing which we are planning on multiplying and sharing with our communities;
We were pleased to be part of the WIHW celebration together with religious leaders;
The cultural heritage of Jordan is amazing and we hope to have a chance to visit again;”
